SMS Terms and Conditions

These SMS Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the SMS / text messaging program operated by California Advantage Escrow (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By opting in, you agree to these Terms.

1. Program Description and Message Types

California Advantage Escrow operates an SMS messaging program for real estate professionals who have affirmatively opted in to receive text messages from us. By opting in, you agree to receive SMS messages from California Advantage Escrow. This includes SMS messages for marketing.

If you opt in, you may receive the following types of messages:

  • Introductions to California Advantage Escrow and our escrow services
  • Capability and availability messages relating to residential and commercial escrow support
  • Follow-up communications about working with California Advantage Escrow on real estate transactions
  • Service-information and business-development messages directed to real estate professionals

2. How to Opt In

California Advantage Escrow obtains SMS consent through:

  • Website forms where you provide your mobile number and affirmatively agree to receive text messages from us
  • Client and contact forms completed during the course of business
  • Direct business interactions in which you provide your mobile number and agree to receive text messages from us
  • Replying START to a prior message from us (used for opt-in confirmation or to rejoin after opting out)

SMS consent is collected as a separate, affirmative step. Providing your phone number alone does not constitute consent. We do not send SMS messages to recipients who have not opted in.

You must be at least 18 years old or the legal account holder authorized to consent to SMS messaging on the phone number provided. By opting in, you confirm that you are the owner or authorized user of the phone number you provide.

3. Message Frequency

Message frequency varies. Recipients typically receive no more than a few messages per month.

4. Message and Data Rates

Message and data rates may apply based on your mobile carrier’s plan. Contact your carrier for details about your messaging plan.

5. How to Opt Out (STOP)

You may opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message you receive from us. After opting out, you will receive one confirmation message and no further messages will be sent from that number unless you opt back in.

6. How to Rejoin

To opt back in after opting out, reply START to a prior message from us, or contact us at info@californiaadvantageescrow.com or 661-235-6500.

7. How to Get Help (HELP)

8. Carrier Disclaimer

Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery of SMS messages is subject to your carrier’s network availability and is not guaranteed.

9. Data Privacy

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties. SMS consent is not shared with third parties.

This restriction excludes text messaging originators, SMS delivery aggregators, and standard transactional platforms required to route the messages.

10. Compliance

Our SMS program is operated in accordance with the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA), the CTIA Messaging Principles and Best Practices, the RingCentral SMS/MMS Policies, and applicable carrier requirements for A2P 10DLC messaging.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last Updated” date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Continued participation in the SMS program after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
